Taken in December 2022, and this picture was taken from a ferry, as I crossed the Irish Sea from Holyhead to Dublin to drive down to the beautiful Co.Kerry to see my brother and his family before Christmas, I have this picture hung above my bed, as I love it. It takes my breath away and transports me every time I look at it, so glad I had my camera to hand on that journey.

Feet on the beach

Taken in August 2022, this is my favourite beach in the whole world, the small seaside village of Aberdaron, on the stunning Lleyn Peninsula, Gwynedd, North West Wales. I have been visiting this beach for nearly 50 years from being a baby in my parents’ arms, until now as an adult, where I come to escape, swim and eat ice cream.

Irish Sea Sunset

Taken in December 2022, I always love travelling over to Ireland on the ferry, I find it exciting, like going on holiday as a child, and every time is different. By the time I reached Dublin, it was dark, but just as the sun lowered itself down behind the final clouds that sat on the horizon, its parting rays danced one last time on the calm Irish Sea, giving a spectacular performance and such a sight to behold.

Sunrise Over The Gate

Taken in November 2022, on an early morning dog walk through the woods up onto a scrubland area, and a little mountain called Moel Findeg, in the Clwydian range in Flintshire above the little village of Maeshafn. It is a bit of a hidden treasure, and peaceful, with beautiful views from the top, over the Clwydian range and as far a Snowdonia on one side, and across the Cheshire Plane and Merseyside on the other side. The sometimes home of a little herd of semi-wild ponies who originated from the Carneddau herd in Snowdonia.
