The Tower

£39.99£54.99

Taken in March 2022, in my home village of Henllan in Denbighshire, the medieval church tower, is stunning, and sits detached from the beautiful St Sadwrn’s church, thought to have been built in the first-half of the 14th Century. It contains the church bell, and the reason it is separate from the church is to ensure its bells were heard throughout the parish, and also perhaps to double-up as a defensive peel tower in times of need. It is beautiful, and when I walk past it every day with the dogs, I imagine it to be like the tower from the fairy story, Rapunzel.

The estimated delivery time may vary depending on your location, however current delivery times are estimated to be between 10 and 14 days.

A signature will be required on delivery and the risk of the goods shall pass to you upon delivery. Most couriers we use cannot provide an estimated delivery time or the option of a morning/afternoon delivery slot, therefore delivery will be anytime usually between 9-5pm.

If your delivery hasn’t arrived before 6pm on the scheduled day of delivery please contact us and we will contact the courier to see why.

At the moment Philippa isn’t accepting commissions, but should this change in the future we will let you know.

Currently you can only view and purchase Philippa’s work directly through the website, however we hope there will be additional options in the future and we will keep you posted.

A limited-edition print is limited to the number in its production. The number will be found on the certificate of authenticity that will be provided with the print. Although we will have a record of your details and the limited edition that you purchased, it is important that you keep the certificate with the print for your own records as certificates cannot be re-issued. When the designated number in the limited edition has sold out it will never be reproduced in the same format, creating the exclusivity and desirability of collecting limited edition artwork. An open edition print is an unlimited number of copies of the artwork which is mass produced like most of the photographic art produced by Philippa thus cheaper due to its lack of exclusivity. A time limited edition print is one that is only available for a period of time, the final edition number determines how many were sold during that time.

Giclée derives from a French word meaning spray of inks, it is a digital printing process using light fast inks. This process results in an extremely accurate and high-quality art print which can be printed on different surfaces. Using fade-resistant, archival inks, a giclée piece of art translates the vibrancy and detail of an original artwork.

Each limited-edition print has a certificate of authenticity from the publisher with the edition number stated. We also provide a hand signed certificate of provenance for an original artwork.

Unfortunately, not at the moment.

You will be provided with a price for delivery when you reach the checkout, we endeavour to keep delivery costs as low as we possibly can, but costs vary depending on your location.

We ask that you check all details of the art you wish to purchase at the prior to order. All of our art products are made specifically to your specifications on order, therefore we are unable to accept any returns unless your order is proven to be incorrect or damaged on delivery, at the fault of the printer or courier. We ask that you carefully check your product when it arrives with you, and report any damages or incorrect orders to us within the first 48 hours following delivery. We are unable to action any appropriate changes, if you don’t contact us within 48 hours.

The frames for Philippa’s prints and limited editions have been chosen by the Philippa. This is how Philippa would present her work. There is the alternative option to purchase prints and limited-editions unframed at a lower cost, should you wish, and this would enable you to choose your own frame.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer finance options at present, but watch out for offers that will come up from time to time, and should we be in a position to offer finance in the future we will advertise this on the website.

We wouldn’t recommend displaying artwork on a wall which gets direct sunlight the majority of the day, as over a long period of time it can affect the colour quality of the print.
